Here is the wedding I shot on the most popular date of 2007…it was the first wedding I booked for that season. Jen is the third cousin I’ve worked with from this one family and I have one more cousin’s wedding next year! It is so awesome to see so many familiar faces when I go to a wedding and the chain of referrals makes me feel great. Anyway, onto the wedding. Jen is the type of person who you like as soon as you meet her…she is so sweet and wears her heart on her sleeve (as you’ll be able to tell from the photos!). She works with little kids and also sells Mary Kay, which totally fits her personality. Now Bob is a bit more on the reserved side, but I can see right through him and tell that he is all mushy for Jen. They’re expecting a baby now and I know they will be great parents.
They were married at the Centenary United Methodist Church in Shady Side, MD (same as cousin #2, Kim, and upcoming cousin #4, Kelli) and the reception was at the DoubleTree Hotel in Annapolis (same as cousin Kim). I don’t have a slideshow of this one, so will post a few more pics than usual.
Jen couldn’t look at herself in a mirror while getting ready (even the little make-up mirror) without crying. It was really cute.

The too-cute ring bearer with his daddy:

Jen and her dad about to walk down the aisle….crying again of course:

This is one of the stricter Churches I’ve been in as far as where I could stand, but thank goodness for long lenses!

Father-Daughter dance….

I love their reaction here:

The overdue bridesmaid icing her swollen ankles…poor thing:

Jen was presented with a gag gift….I think it’s some sort of electric dog collar for her new hubby. Hee-hee…

Being a flower girl is exhausting work:

Honestly, I don’t know who this is, but really like the photo:

Bob’s mom was wearing a cast, but hey, at least it matched her dress!
