Stacey and Tom were so fun to take photos with on Saturday…well except for one bad moment which I’ll detail above the last photo below! We met by the Visionary Museum and lucked out with the beautiful weather. Tom is a physical therapist and met Stacey when she was a client…of course he had to wait until their sessions were done to ask her out. I didn’t have to spend much time with them to realize how perfect they are together. Here are a few of my favorites…more to come
Aren’t they adorable?
I took the shot below after almost eating the pavement. See those little steps behind them? I was talking and walking (shouldn’t be that hard, right?) and took a step without realizing I was stepping down, twisted my ankle, and came crazy close to tumbling down the stairs. I was holding two cameras and have no idea how I managed to keep from falling or dropping anything, but it was far from graceful. I think I scared Stacey and Tom as much as I scared myself, but after settling down we pulled off this really nice shot. The light here is why I love shooting so close to sunset…it’s just warm and soft. Anyway, I predict that I won’t live this down and will be told to “be careful” at some point on their wedding day….haha.
