Bat Mitzvah reception at Cloisters Castle, cont.

Here are a few more pics of Becky and her uber-fabulous Bat Mitzvah party at the Cloisters Castle in Lutherville.  The place was packed and so much attention was put into the details of the event.  They used a candy theme so there were yummy treats everywhere you looked in addition to the fabulous dinner and desserts from Philadelphia-based kosher caterer, Betty the Caterer.

You can see some of the sweet lighting in the shot below.  I wish more people would hire lighting consultants for their events.  It can really make a huge difference for the overall ambience, not to mention it can make the photos more interesting!  Baltimore-based Staged Right Productions set the mood for this party.

Sushi bar!  Some of the kids even got to make their own.

This one is a candid shot that I took of Becky and her little sister right before having them pose.  They look so timeless and sweet….well, except for the fact that they are checking out each other’s glitter tattoos.  = )

Crowd shot:

One of Becky’s older sisters put together a slideshow of photos of Becky and her whole family.  I was right be these two little cuties during the show and caught the little curly haired boy bugging Becky’s sister.  Boys will be boys.

Becky and some of her friends watching the slideshow…the little boy in front is yet another sibling!  Check out the funky light rings on his hands.

Here is Becky’s big brother jumping in front of one of his little sisters and her date…defending her honor I think.

We didn’t manage to get the whole family together until 10:30pm on the dance floor.  Check out the younger kids in front – they are SO done and ready for bed!

Congrats Becky and kudos to your mom for planning this bash!

Susan Oh my gosh, what a fun event! I love the royal princess-feel of these. Those first two photos are just fabulous!

Elizabeth and Frank Myers Princess dresses, a party in a castle – what more could a girl want? Great work capturing the ambiance of this fun event!
