My niece, Caroline, turns 8 today….Happy Birthday! She had a sleepover party Saturday night with four of her friends. We aren’t having a family party this year, so my parents and I invited ourselves over for the best parts of the party: pizza, presents, and ice cream cake. I’d like to share my observations about...  It’s crazy how there is so much buildup before Christmas and then boom!….it’s over. I guess it’s like a wedding, except for the whole once-in-a-lifetime huge party thing. Okay, maybe it’s not. I invited my family over Saturday night for dinner and a walk to see the holiday lights displayed on 34th Street in Hampden.
